We're celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Bootie-style!

We'll be celebrating Cinco de Mayo at Bootie this Saturday, so we've got a few Latin-themed mashups to play, and we can guarantee you'll be dancing to "Tequila" at least once! And to help us celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we are proud to showcase an encore performance by Mexican drag queen KAY SEDIA!

Expect lots of Cinco de Mayo decorations and celebrations this Saturday night!


From Seattle's mashup club FrankenBOOT, it's DJ FREDDY, KING OF PANTS

This month, we are proud to feature DJ Freddy, King of Pants, creator of FrankenBOOT, Seattle's original all-mashup bootleg party. Freddy has been rockin' Seattle with mashups for over two years now, and has spun amazing sets at Bootie parties in both San Francisco and New York City. This will be his first time spinning in LA and we are excited to have him! Check out his tracks and you'll be able to hear what a fun dancefloor set this guy can spin!

He's even promised a special new Cinco de Mayo bootleg!

After taking last month off, resident DJs ADRIAN & the MYSTERIOUS D are back, joining DJ PAUL V. on the decks to spin all your favorite mashups, as well as some brand-new tracks. To get a taste of some of the mashups we'll be playing, be sure to tune in to Paul V.'s Smash Mix this Friday at 5:30 pm on Indie 103.1.

This month's midnight mashup show will feature the debut Bootie performance by DARWIN, who will be singing a live mashup.

As usual, we'll have this month's new 10-track Bootie CD to the first 50 people through the door! Get there early to nab one – and remember, it's also 2-for-1 before 10:30 PM!
