From Los Angeles, it's an album release party for DJ AXEL – CD giveaways!

This month, it's the return of DJ AXEL! This Los Angeles-based producer and DJ has spun a couple times – back in Bootie's early days at Cherry Bar – but this will be his first time rockin' the dance floor at DNA Lounge. And this time, he'll be celebrating the release of his debut bootleg CD, Breakin' The Law. This brand-new full-length album features many of Axel's crowd-pleasing favorites, as well several new mashups, previously unavailable anywhere! And he's bringing a bunch to give away at midnight!

Upstairs: DJ TRIPP'S BIRTHDAY BASH with guest DJs DAVID X and MATT HITE

Every April, DJ TRIPP – Santa Cruz's favorite mashup DJ – celebrates his birthday at Bootie. And this year, he's going all out and bringing the party to YOU – by taking over the upstairs room at the DNA Lounge! Go on up there and toast him happy b-day! DJs DAVID X from Sacramento's 91X and MATT HITE from Beatmixed.com will be joining TRIPP on the decks, and making sure that everyone parties like it's their birthday! And they've got some birthday giveaways and goodies too!

Bootie house band SMASH-UP DERBY at 11 PM

SMASH-UP DERBY – the world's only mashup rock band – will hit the stage promptly at 11 PM ... and they've got a few new surprises in store, including a new-and-improved rendition of one of the biggest "hits" from the Best of Bootie 2006 CD. We'll give you one hint: it's kind of a "tricky" metal song ... so be ready to rock out!

Midnight mashup show with STARR MUNRO & STEVEN SATYRICON

STARR MUNRO and STEVEN SATYRICON have both graced the stage for the midnight mashup show, but never like this! This month, these two performers will be doing a sexy mashup duet produced by A plus D!

And of course, resident Bootie DJs PARTY BEN, ADRIAN, MYSTERIOUS D, and DADA will be in the main room, spinning all your favorite mashups throughout the night, as well as a bunch of new tunes for your dancing pleasure!

We'll have a couple photographers in the house – JOE from DrunkRockers.com is coming back from LA to snap more pics of all the insanity – check out his photos from last month here.

NATHAN K. will be there as well, perched upstairs with his camera and printer, snapping party portraits that you'll be able to take home with you!
